SMS messages can be initiated by the operator from our 3mail module which is part of every LibraryH3lp subscription. 3mail has a simple "CREATE SMS" feature. When guests reply, they would get handled through chat like usual.
US Customers
In order to send proactive text, you will need to provide us the information for how guest will be opting in to received text messages from your organization. We will need these details, along with supporting evidence, to submit to our carrier when we registered your number.
If you are not currently using 3mail, you can enabled it for your texting queue via the webclient or the standalone 3mail app.
To proactively text patrons, click on the CREATE SMS button located on the top left:
