Why do I see myself in my webclient contacts list?

An update to the webclient in 2022 provides a "self-buddy" by default.  So, when you "see yourself" in your own contacts list, don't worry, it's normal!

Our original contacts management tool in the admin dashboard did not create self-buddies.  However, our "new" users management page (in beta as of this FAQ) provides a self-buddy as part of contacts management.  We have found that most people prefer having the self-buddy, and so we have settled on making this more consistent.
