How can staff answering chats style their text for display to guests in the chat box widget?

Chat within the webclient supports Markdown. Here's a guide describing the basic syntax of Markdown.

Of the items discussed in the cheatsheet, probably the most commonly used items are bold and italics.

To send bold text, surround the text with double asterisks, like this:

**this will be bold** will display as this will be bold

To send italics, surround the text with a single asterisk or underscores, like this:

*show me the italics!* or _show me the italics!_ will display as show me the italics!
