Do the chat boxes support https?

Yes!  By default, all chat service snippets created within the admin dashboard use https (links by regional server: US, CA, EU, SG). 

If you are using the older, DIY style of code snippet you'll want to change URLs to https instead of http.   The examples in our doc covering the DIY style shows examples using https.
